Operational Issues .. and some opportunities you might consider.
First and foremost I hope you are safe and well.
The Corona virus issues are challenging to everyone, and I wanted to update you as to what we are doing to at AW to mitigate the impact and safeguard our people whilst still serving you our customer.
These are extraordinary times, and it's taking extraordinary measures and extraordinary people at AW to keep things working.
Here is a brief update as to the operational situation. Followed by a more positive update of ways we can help your business.
Working from home.
You may find some of the customer service people you are dealing with are working from home. Rest assured we have state of the art communications systems in place , and your queries and requests will be dealt with just as effectively.. well that's our aim.
But please be patient and understanding with our team as they work to serve you.
Our goods in & goods out teams are the real hero's of AW - we are taking all available measures to keep them safe, including body temperature checks, masks, gloves, working apart, banning outside visitors etc. I'm pleased to report we have good staffing levels and are managing to get orders out in a timely fashion. We remain (at this stage) pretty busy, because we of course sell soaps, essential oils and other in demand items at this time.
Our showroom is closed, also we are advising against customers coming to collect orders, thank you for your understanding. Please contact our customer service team for more information.
Right now most couriers in the UK are fulfilling deliveries to a good standard, you probable know the no contact systems being employed.
Our buying team has been working round the clock to ensure supplies, particularly of in-demand items. Stock from China was obviously several delayed, but I can report the first container was dispatched today and should be in the UK in about four weeks.The situation in China is rapidly improving.
These are difficult times, but as traders it is our job to meet the needs of our customers.
At AW as you know we produce aromatherapy and soap products, we are doing our best despite staffing issues to increase production. Selling soap has never been easier.. and giving a gift of soap has never been more considerate.
If your retail shop(s) is/are facing lack of customers or forced closure then obviously that massively impacts trade. Fortunately many of our customers already have a good online presence. And as more of the population is confined to home bases then we expect online sales to eclipse or replace high street sales.
Did you know we recently launched a NEW DROP-SHIPPING SITE..? a big improvement on the old one (although that is still working). This means you can access a large range of AW products and sell them - without stocking them or shipping them yourself. You just sell online.. it's a bit of work.. but we do the rest. Thousands of lines - some are really hot selling - Like Paper soaps.. Atomisers. Roll on Essential Oil Blends..

Things are changing everyday and new and different opportunities in trade present themselves all the time. Rest assured we are always working hard to bring opportunities to our customers. Even in these difficult and testing times.
