These Brass artefacts are beautifully hand-made with a verdigris polished finish. Exotically ornate and weighty pieces. Around 2kg of solid brass in each piece.
The Nag Kanyas are snake goddesses and are also known as snake girls. Her Sanskrit name means “the virgin” or “the maiden of the Nagas”.
They are serpents who act as guardians and who secure the riches of the deep.
Made by Tibetan artisans but Nag Kanas are worshipped as a symbol of sacrifice and purity by Indian and Rajasthanian Hindus.
These Brass artefacts are also beautifully hand-made with a verdigris finish. Very ornate and weighty pieces. The largest piece on the left is about 5kg of brass.
The globes and rings all rotate freely and are covered with mystic symbols and scripts.
We have no idea of the provenience but we know they are truly exotic and esoteric. The specialist collector will not resist.
