Greetings from Spain.

Happy Black Friday!.

Hope you are well and business is booming. Here in Spain the weather has suddenly turned cool but the sky is blue and the sun is still shining.

All around AW it's the very busiest time.. it's crazy, its manic, but it's what we like best. Absolutely not complaining.

Last week I was telling you about something magic that happened on Coco's last day here. If you missed it you can catch up here.

Now Coco is back in China and happy to be reunited with the grandchildren. She also returned to an office full of samples, (sent in by existing suppliers). She called me very excited about new designs of backflow incense burners.

And I have to send regular updates on the reformation of our terrace at home. It's coming along slowly.

Big Plans. Epic 24 Trip.

Following the huge success of our Epic India/Nepal trip early this year..which brought hundreds of new products and totally revamped our ranges. It's time to plan.. So I spent most of yesterday chatting with our India agent: Mr Chatterjee. I'm planning a trip to India and Nepal running from late January to early March.. then to China. That's if there is not another pandemic, Coco tells me all the hospitals are full and this time it is young people most affected. It's blocked in the news.. you read it here first. Hopefully all will be OK.. because the plan keeps getting more exciting.

This time Toni (our main man in Spain) is coming, and Tomas will join later. We plan to get to unseen parts of India and Nepal.. and go deeper and further to bring you the very best in esoteric and artisan products.

I'm so excited already - I can barely sleep - so much research, planning and meetings to set up..

Four years.

I can't believe it has been four years since the pandemic started.. We had just launched AWArtisan.eu a new warehouse in Malaga. The owner of the warehouse is a Chinese lady. It had previously been rented to Netfilx who had used it as a stage set for shooting "The Crown". Mario, our man in Spain for all things legal or administrative (our gestor) had been dealing with Chinese handymen tidying up the place.. He came down with a terrible flu, and instinctively isolated himself. he was the first person I know to catch covid - although at the time we didn't know. Coco was in Europe for Christmas and returned in January, I went to India with Tomas and all hell broke out. Almost got trapped in India. Didn't see Coco for almost two years..

Four years.. somehow seems like an age ago.

Black Friday is happening, soon it will be Cyber Monday (here's the link) and yes it's just 30 days away from Christmas!! Yes, another year has come and gone almost.

Yesterday in the UK an Indonesian container arrived.. so plenty of juicy items back in stock (see below) and some goodies as well, watch out for updates soon.

Tell you what I have noticed.. candles generally are selling like mad.. check you have all the latest in stock.. if not you are missing out big time.
