Wholesale David's AW News: Hot Hot Hot! - Ancient Wisdom

Greetings from a hot hot hot place..

Hope you guys are doing well.

In Spain it was the hottest day ever, and the hottest point actually not far from our AW-Artisan warehouse.. the local government issued a decree that if your working environment is over a certain level you can just go home and still get paid. Toni (our main man in Spain) organised giant fans and cold water.. but the temperature was HOT-HOT-HOT! but our AW heroes warehouse team just kept on working regardless.. getting orders out to our customers as normal.. so we decided to take the team out for a meal on the beach as a reward... more later.

Last week (we had the blue screen event) I was telling you about the empty containers - (for more space for our over full warehouse) finally arriving in AW-Artisan carpark.. If you missed it you can read about it here..

Those containers arrived in the nick of time as an Indonesian container just came the next day, we were able to store backup stock and create space for new products picking area.

So the other day we finished work a little early and all the AW team got changed into their smart outfits, girls in pretty dresses, guys looking cool in white with shades.. we met a large popular chiringuito on the beach not far from us.. We do this once a year (at least) and it's become a bit of a tradition..

It started so well..Toni takes an awesome selfie!

But the hottest day of the year.. and those parasols had gaps where the sun came through.. the staff tried to keep us all in the shade, but the damn sun kept moving and slowly someone was a pool of sweat..

I did my speech and our new girl; Molly (second on the left) who is from Bath in the UK - and very posh - volunteered to translate. Her Spanish is excellent. She did an awesome job.. but later told me she was getting a little hot under the collar as my Northern accent was sometimes hard for her to understand...

I thanked everybody for their hard work, especially in the heat.. I told them they were the hottest team at AW! (I think I can say this without upsetting all the other AW teams).

Then it just got too hot.. I was sweating.. in a pool.. but like brave soldiers we made it to the deserts.. hoping to serve everyone ice creams we asked to see the menu.. sadly we were in the only chiringuito in Spain that doesn't serve ice cream.. goodness it was HOT HOT HOT!

Meanwhile in the UK.. lots of new stock arriving.. I'm very excited to see the Madagascar Labradorite stones. Really beautiful, and Rodrigo and his team have managed to make nice gifs that show the magical quality of these stones, the way the light reflects as you move them.. mesmerizing!

Awesome grab them while you can..

Also in - I first saw this in Turkey - Enhanced Natural Quartz - well the quartz is natural and then they electromagnetic things to it and create awesome pieces.. I feel they are very easy to sell. HOT selling!

And we have some fantastic Geode carvings.. also..

Actually the skulls were hard to get, we had to beg for them.. the price went up a lot after we ordered them and our supplier claimed to be losing money (probably true) we paid more to cover the losses, and if we can get restocks they will be at a higher price (or so I understand). So grab them while you can.

So much beautiful new stock you really have to see to appreciate it properly. Well we have another Showroom Open Week.. come along for special exclusives and VIP treatment..
