Wholesale David's AW News: My first time as a Youtuber (it's not good) - Ancient Wisdom

Greetings from the AW warehouse, Ketewel, Bali

It's been one of those weeks, lots of challenges and super busy.

I have been spending time in the beach office, because we have a new Dropshipping website with lots of enhanced features in the pipeline. This needs lots of brain power and attention to details, the programming team are totally on it. But yesterday I escaped with Bondhan and his friend who is a professional photographer to Ubud and the villages beyond. It finally stopped raining and the rice terraces and hidden away country lanes looked pristine and beautiful.. or mission, to catch up with suppliers but also to make some content. Bodhan had a plan to interview one of our oldest suppliers in his home.

On the way we dropped in to see a few suppliers.. and made "content" because you see the plan is I'm to be a youtuber.. I'm not sure about this..

We will put this particular content out later.. this Pacman (we call him) he is like the village head.. and at any time maybe 50 local artisans are making products for AW. Pacman is pretty creative himself but spends a lot of time sourcing materials and organising the artisans of his village. The guy sitting with him is a Buddha carver.

He tells us the impact doing business with AW has had on his village. You will soon in the AW youtube channel.

Well it is the last day of February.. the Season of Love is underway.. In Spain they tell me it is Andalusia Day! which means lots of flowers and lots of Love. Mother's Day is coming - Spring is round the corner and hints of sunshine over the British Isles. Soap Flowers are trending.. lots of orders I can see.. So

Meanwhile an update.

The petition I started to fairly Tax Temu..

THIS HAS TO STOP! TEMU IS KILLING UK RETAIL AND THE ENVIRONMENT!

Well amazingly it went/still going viral.. gaining 36,000 signatures (and counting)... as I type this.

Quite exciting really - and the amount of comments and feedback is immense! This topic has really hit a nerve.

Even Change.org contacted me directly to say how good the response was and maybe they could introduce us to their contacts in the media.

So here it is my very first actual attempt at being a Youtuber :/ Actually I enjoy writing this newsletter. I have been writing every Friday for Donkey's years.. but the idea of being on camera is not my style. But what the hell.

Since now apparently I have to be a Youtuber.. Well at least this particular cause motivated me enough to try..

Please be kind.. constructive criticism accepted.. the next will be better I promise. I only relented and did this because.. well I am VERY ANGRY.
