Greetings from Malaga airport

I'm here with Tomas and Raul.. we are on the way to the UK.
Last week I was telling you a business traveller secret, that might surprise you.. if you missed it you can catch up here.
I was also telling you about our new upcoming Yoga Department.. which seems to have generated an enthusiastic response, thanks for your ideas and suggestions.
In the UK we will be focusing on AW-Aromatics - which is just in the process of moving into a long awaited new factory complex. Again any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

This week we crammed into the bulging offices of AW-Artisan in Spain.. Toni (our manager is doing his best) but as we continue to expand and more people are needed it's starting to get a bit squashed.. but the ever cheerful team seem to cope quite well.. our lease has another two years to run.. and we are already thinking about exactly where we can expand to. It was Spain's national day and a bank holiday on Wednesday so Tuesday after work we took  the team out after work for a meal on the beach.. they love to party in Spain. Work hard and play hard.. it's the Spanish way.. It's a tradition that I have to make a little speech and thank everyone for their hard work. We have a long running joke where I call them "My favourite team" - of course it's only in jest, all our teams in various parts of AW amazing, but it gives them bragging rights and the ability to poke fun at the other teams. All of AW is integrated on a thing called Slack it's a corporate version of WhatsApp so people can trade ideas and connect across the company. And sometimes it is used for social interactions..
So we went to trendy beach chiringuito not far from our warehouse and after to the roof top bar of a nearby hotel.. it was really special and nice time to get know the new people.

I made my little speech.. "I'm really happy to be having dinner in my favourite type of restaurant, eating my favourite food, favourite wine, and especially doing this right here with my favourite team.. " Everyone cheers..  even the new guys they understand the joke..

Our flight was delayed of course, but we finally made it back to British soil..
This morning (Friday morning) the first job was to visit the new factory for AW-Aromatics.. We have already moved into the warehouse part and I was impressed how organised it was.. all stock neat and tidy and everything booked into locations.. The production area is almost ready to move into and the finishing touches are being made to the offices and showrooms. Erik our operations manager has everything ready to make the leap from our old factory to the new one with the minimum of disruption to production.. he tells me he has a five day plan. Wow the team here is really on the job.. They are also my Favourite Team.

Erik.. ready to move.

This is our new Aromatics factory.. not quite finished but almost..

We have 1200 pallet spaces.. already in use.
We are hoping to be able to move soon.. when we do we can expand production massively.. So if you are looking to develop your own brand.. or maybe you just want "own label" products. I have just been catching up with the marketing team and they tell me are already working with some interesting people with amazing ideas and brilliant designs..
We were just discussing how when it comes to bigger projects we need to carefully select who we work with, because at the end of the day even with added capacity there is a limit. So we should work with people we can get on with.. just like My Favourite Team (all of them).
If you want to join us.. register at AW-Aromatics - and start a new adventure today.

More news next week.

Take care

David
