In the UK we also have warehouse problem.. we really don't have enough space. As we have expanded and grown and gradually taken on other units in the business park, we have reached a point where no more units are available.. It's very frustrating and very hard work for the warehouse team. Many of the isles between the racks are blocked and that means it's difficult to get the forklift trucks in to every area. So when we pick your order, and something is out of stock, because the replenishment stock is high in the racks we can't get it quickly - so orders have to wait an extra day or so until that particularly area is cleared. So to cut a long story short.. to speed up your orders we need more space. 

Guess what? Everyone it seems is looking for more space, blaming Brexit stock-piling as the reason. We went to look at nearby warehouses, even went knocking on doors of near by "big" warehouses asking if they have spare space to rent. But to no avail.

In the end we are fast-tracking a plan to pull out some small racking put in big racking, add a mezzanine floor and possible erect a permanent tent style warehouse in the car-park. 

Meanwhile.. it's like Smudge stick central here.. sometimes you get a new product that almost everyone orders of the bat, you look at the orders being packed and everyone contains a pile of Smudge Sticks..

So what the heck are Smudge Sticks? And why are people just so enthusiastic?
