Greetings from Spain

Well it's all happening all at once.. again.. as usual. This Sunday - obviously is going to be crazy.. Spain v England.. I'm sure the local bars around here are going to be crammed.

Last week I was telling you about our new Search Bar (have you tried it yet?) - and told you my slightly sad story about the Slouchy Tote bags from Kolkata. If you missed it you can catch up here.

Earlier this week Coco and I had to go to Torremolinos police station...

We arrived very early for the appointment.. It's been a long time coming and we couldn't be late.. Just past the main entrance just round the back is a small scruffy outdoor waiting area with a few rows of sun battered chairs, a small crowd of people are milling around maybe on the same mission as us. For some this is a life changing moment. I can see it in the faces. A battered peeling sign on a window says "DOCUMENTACION" .

After a while an impossibly smart policeman appears in the doorway armed with a gun and a clipboard. Montana, who is also our accountant, met us there just in case there were any issues - she has done this kind of thing before.. she elbowed her way to the guy and practically stabbed the clipboard, "aqui, aqui" here is my client name.. Then shouts to Coco "vamos!".. I said go go Coco looks like your first in line. I sit down to wait patiently on a battered chair but only five minutes later Coco and Montana emerge.

Coco has an official Spanish ID card and right to remain. No need to get troublesome visa's any more and freedom to travel in Europe.

It's all good news! Later we celebrated this and Tomas 40th Birthday on the beach with a slap up meal.

Whatever happens on Sunday there will be a lot of people celebrating here in Spain.. I'm looking forward to the fun.

More good news - a Container that Coco shipped over 2 months ago arrived.. that's pretty quick these days. It has lots of new exciting stock on it. and many fast selling lines back in stock. I know the warehouse team is working extra hard to get everything booked in, and Rodrigo and his team are frantically getting new products online. Amongst them is a range of Gemstone Pendants to go with the Pendant cord range we received last month..

I first came across them in India. It's called a Floating Frame. They are awesome for making small jewelry items stand out and look so much more pretty.

They make an effective gift box and cheap enough you can "give" them away.. or sell as an extra. If someone is buying a bracelet as a gift then they for sure will want a nice box to put it in. Use also to take your jewelry display to the next level. In China we went to our long-time jewelry display supplier. They told us these are the hottest thing in years, that if we wanted to order we had to go on a waiting list as production was maxed out, and even if we paid cash up front we'd still have to wait.

But Coco worked miracles and found a small factory with capacity and charmed them enough to get us enough stock to get going. Yes I realise before you ask.. these are plastic. But not single use - this is to keep your precious jewelry dust free and looking good for years to come.
