Greetings from Spain

It's exciting and just astonishing things happening this week... details below.

Last week I was telling you about the Summer Solstice and how in every corner of the AW world.. UK, Spain, Slovakia, India & Bali.. a celebration or party of one sort or another was happening. If you missed it you can catch up here.

Now it's one week on from the longest day so we are firmly in the summer season.  The Euro football season (England v Slovakia) this weekend.. Haha I'm not a football fan but I might even watch that.

And so many containers arriving in the UK and EU warehouses it dare I say it... almost feels like (yikes) Christmas.. 

I'm planning a 90th Birthday party (not mine).. see below.

I need your opinion.. 

I have been thinking about this for a long time about how to differentiate us from our competitors and (those apparently) copycat businesses. Our long time customers know us well and have been along for the ride with me and the AW team for years.. you know we import direct and manufacture and supply direct (so authentic real wholesalers - not middlemen). You know we go out of our way to deal directly with Artisans and have our own artistic designers in house (so genuinely artisan focused). Our long-time customers also know how hard we work to come up with and keep coming up with Astonishingly Good Products that your customers love make a real difference to your business.

So I was thinking maybe we need a new tagline...

Ancient Wisdom - Authentic, Artisan & Astonishingly Good Products 

Oh well it's work in progress.. lots of reasons we can claim to be authentic even more to be artisan.. but Astonishing.. sounds a bit (Trumpish) arrogant.. even if we do have great products.. speaking of which..

Big news is the long awaited launch of our Vitamin C  range of products.

I can't tell you how much work has been put into this, it's been a year in the making.. Testing, refining, trying to make sure we have an Astonishingly Good Product.  Packaging design by our talented Designer Sandra, product creation involving all the AW-Aromatics team. Big input from Tomas and Bryant. And the Aw-Aromatics Artisans working all hours to get stock produced for the launch..

It's the last day of the month! Last trading day for us.. so everyone is crazy busy running around like mad people wrapping up the Month of June..

So July - Holiday season.. and My Big News.. is that Coco and Tomas are both on the way to Spain. Both of them have been working incredibly hard recently. Coco despatching containers from our warehouse in Yiwu almost every other day for the past month or so.. Tomas dealing with a million things in the UK and Slovakia.. They both deserve a well earned rest.

On the way..

Coco (my wife and your agent) from China: she will get a SwissAir flight from Shanghai, change in Zurich and arrive in Malaga on Tuesday night around midnight. Coco just turned 50 so a big party is planned.

Tomas (marketing wizard and main man in Slovakia and all AW) will catch a (much less glamorous) Ryanair flight from Bratislava to Malaga on Tuesday morning. Tomas will shortly celebrate his 40th Birthday.. 

Neither of them look anything like their age.. Just Astonishing no? - maybe it's the Vitamin C products.. 

So that's why I'm planning a big 90th (50+40) party shortly..  haha
