Last week I was in Slovakia at our EU distribution center, telling you about the Secret Soup of Life. You can read about it here.

Since then Raul (our IT wizard) took the Ryanair flight down to Malaga - we have been working on improving the software systems... lots more improvements are in the pipeline.

In the UK it's all happening.. a flow of containers from all corners.. Indian, Indonesian and Chinese deliveries, so lots of things back in stock.

The warehouse team is working flat out to book in all that stock.. and doing a great job. Well done guys!

It's mid-May already, I can't believe where the time goes. Spring has sprung.. and it's totally feeling kind of frisky and festive.. 

May is the month everything comes to life in Spain, one year my wife and I made a random road trip doing a big circuit around Andalusia taking in Ronda, Carmen, Seville and Córdoba. Everywhere we went it seemed like some major event was kicking off.  

I remember in Córdoba it was the Patios Festival, where all the town competes to hang the most colourful masses of flowers. Just glorious, a total floral celebration.

 

Over the top flowers. There is something about the Spring that puts a spring into everyone and things just seem to happen, so maybe May is a good time to make things happen, to get creative.. to spring to life.

Let the inner flowers just bloom..

It seems to me that Bank Holidays are getting ridiculously busy, this picture from the Yorkshire Post shows the mad rush in one of my favourite places on Easter weekend: Whitby.
