We’re working hard to dispatch orders as quickly as possible following a recent system change. Please allow 3–4 working days for dispatch while we complete the transition.

Greetings from Bali

Hope and pray that you are well and safe.
Last week I was telling you about Tomas and I in Bali, a lot has happened since then. You can read last weeks news here.
Tomas managed to get the very last Emirates flight out of here.. he was stranded in Dubai 16 hours but finally made it to the UK on Tuesday.. since then he is self-isolating in Sheffield.
My plan was to finish the jobs here and then try to get a flight route to China (although very hard) - now this morning the announce no foreign people allowed to enter, not even with quarantine.
So looks like I am self-isolating in Bali. These are truly terrible and testing times for all of us.

Mr Chatterjee is in total lock down in India, if you follow this newsletter you will know that Tomas and I was there just a few weeks ago.. not a mask in sight. Coco in China sent a carton of masks and sanitiser by DHL to Mr Chatterjee, only to have it returned when all flights were cancelled. Raul is in enforced lock down in central Kuala Lumpur, with the army paroling the empty streets below his apartment. He's slowly going nuts he tells me..

It was heartwarming to see the support for our NHS staff on Thursday, they were even talking about it here. Today's super hero's if you ask me. In the UK we are still trading.. and trying to do it as safely as possible - everyone that can work at home is doing so.. those that have to be in are taking all measures.. they are our hero's - and for now we are confident the measures we are taking keep our staff as safe if not safer at work than home. Your orders might be a little delayed because we have the absolute minimum in at any one time, Tomas is working from home to minimise the numbers further so that people can have large chunks of space to themselves whist they work. Mostly what we people are ordering soaps.. and essential oils and atomisers (do they help?) . And I guess all for on-line stores.. Our relatively new (thank you Raul) drop-shipping website is proving to be a godsend for many of our customers enabling them to stay in business and keep afloat.
I spend every evening until the early hours talking to our people.. and working out how best to handle this. Katka, Tomas and I have a daily conference on-line..  Katka at HQ is doesn't like to be publicly praised.. but she is handling levels of stress way beyond the call of duty.

It's a fact that of all the places in the world Bali is uniquely placed to organise a lock-down, they already have police departments for it, trained and organised volunteer force in place, and a complete set of recognised and respected rules. You may have heard of Nyepi - It's Bali's New Year. Every 210 days according to their calendar is a complete day of silence - a spiritual day of reflection.. airport, roads are closed, everyone must stay at home and reflect. So it's same as a lock-down right?  It was on Wednesday, the night before parades and parties all cancelled but the quiet day went ahead.. with one last-minute amendment... it would last for two full days not one, and that further instructions would follow. It seemed to me a smart move.. already a total lock-down.. extend it and then extend it more (with allowances for going out for food and stuff) until like Malaysia a virus halting lock-down is imposed. But alas rumours that it would be extended, were fake news and today (Friday) Ringo and I were allowed out to finish of a few jobs, however, the place is like a ghost town. Everything is closed.
Now who knows what will happen.. looks like I'm stranded here.. I have been one step ahead of the virus in Spain, UK, Malaysia, India.. finally like all of us it is catching up with me.

I know you all have your own sets of problems right now.. I'm praying that soon things will improve. But please please don't relax being careful.. stay at home if you can.. wash your hands now.
Take care, be kind and be careful.

Updates next week
