We called it the Frangipani warehouse because at the time we moved, the streets around were bedded with frangipani flowers, the pretty frangipani petals are used in offerings as hair decoration and can be processed into perfume. The same perfume that is made to make Nagchampa Incense in India. Now in Bali the Frangipani trees are in full bloom. But it is also the time of a full blown election and Indonesia will choose new national and local leaders soon. They get very enthusiastic about these things - there are wall to wall posters and flags across Bali, and I assume, all Indonesia.

Frangipani Warehouse.

James has been busy, working with Raul (IT developer) on improvements to the fulfillment software we use at AW-Fulfillment. Now Raul and his small team of developers are focused on this project. Then he is spending time with the AW warehouse team implementing new systems to the warehouse here. Big changes are happening.. including re-organising the warehouse here.  Now we have a goods-in racked out area, after goods have been QC'ed and packed they are booked to locations in racking from which they can be loaded on the next container leaving.. It's all getting much better organised. To get experience James (the other morning) even helped load a container destined for Slovakia. It's very hot and humid. It's a job that's not for the faint heart of heart.. after a four hour shift I think he was sweating..

So James is very busy but we still found time to go and visit some suppliers up in the hills and villages beyond Ubud where many of the artisan craft workers live.
