Can you believe this is Malaga?

Global warming or what, it's certainly feels like things are going to pot.

Meanwhile Coco, my wife (and AW China agent) is back in China for Chinese New Year. Which is this weekend. 

So Happy New Year.. or if you want to surprise your Asian friends say.. Xīnnián kuàilè - yes I know - that doesn't help.. Xinnian.. pronounced "shin knee hen" (say it quickly).. then  kuàilè.. pronounced "Cur why le" now sing it out in a joyful way.

Coco is about thee hours away from Wuhan and there has been one case near by, everyone in the city close to her hometown is wearing surgical masks. The other city now on lock-down is Huanggang near Hangzhou and not far from our China base. Scary times.

Meanwhile here in Spain I think we are upsetting the local competition, someone it seems doesn't want us bringing AW products to our Spain customers. It started with a stiff DDOS attack on the website, fortunately we have defences in place. Raul our IT wizard, who is a genius was on it within the hour and fended off the attack like a Mexican ninja. Then came the gg.gg attack.. this is where the registration page is swamped with dodgy registrations. Raul was a little surprised, he said those attacks cost money.. in an hour 2000 registrations, effectively blocking other people. Some nifty code swatted that away, then bam... 8000 came in the night, even by passing the hidden defences.. Raul was on it.. writing the code and sidestepping the problem. Whoever the fox is that forked out to trash us wasted their money.

Sant Jordi

Meanwhile our customers keep going on about books and roses.. Its Sant Jordi's Day - it's another romantic day here in Spain, especially in Catalonia..

Give someone you love a book and a rose. 

Yes.. it's yet another day of love.. 23rd April. The tradition is you give a Red Rose and a nice book.. The basic idea for Sant Jordi is that men give women roses and women give men books. And it can be anybody, not necessarily your partner or somebody who you have taken a liking to. For this feast, boys buy roses for their mums; girls buy books for their friends. Also, in today's forward thinking society the rules are no longer set regarding who gets what. A girl is just as likely to receive a book and vice versa. So books and roses all round..

In Sheffield it's all go.. only days to the start of the "Season of Love"  - Valentine's is almost upon us. It is mad crazy mad mad and more mad busy.. everyone running around like CRAZY. We are getting the orders out.. 

Shortly it will be the Spring Fair in Birmingham.. and people ask which is the Ancient Wisdom stand.. listen folks AW is not there - never has been. So you won't find us. To do that we'd need salespeople and we don't have them (or need them) so we don't do it.
