- Eco-Friendly - Made in Yogyakarta

Where are they made? +

They are artisan-made near Yogyakarta on Java, Indonesia. The AW team has visited the workshop and seen the weaving process first-hand.

Are all the placemats naturally scented? +

The natural aroma belongs specifically to the pieces woven from vetiver roots. The seagrass and water-hyacinth designs are chosen for their colour, pattern and woven texture.

Are the placemats suitable for use as heatproof trivets? +

They are sold as placemats, coasters and table runners, not as certified heatproof trivets. Retailers should avoid making specific heat-resistance claims.
