Are these tarot cards? +

No. These are 54-card playing decks with the familiar suits and values, not 78-card tarot decks with Major and Minor Arcana. This is worth making clear in-store, particularly where they are displayed alongside tarot and oracle ranges, as it helps prevent customers buying the wrong type of deck.

Can they still be used for ordinary card games? +

Yes. The dual-purpose designs retain recognisable playing-card suits and values, so customers can use them for conventional games as well as intuitive readings. The additional artwork, titles and messages simply give the cards a second way to be used.

Will the cards show wear after repeated shuffling? +

Yes. As with ordinary playing cards, regular shuffling and handling can eventually produce softened corners, edge wear or surface marks, particularly when cards are used frequently. This is normal wear rather than necessarily a manufacturing fault.

How should customers store and care for the decks? +

Keep the cards dry and return them to their box after use, ideally in a cool place away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. Clean, dry hands and keeping food and drinks away from the deck will also help preserve the printed surfaces and card edges.
