How to Open and Secure the Parasol:

Place the parasol on the floor with the top side facing down.
Hold the pole firmly and push the runner (the sliding wooden ring) downwards until the canopy is fully open.
When the hole appears, insert the peg through it to lock the runner in place.

To fully expand the umbrella please place the umbrella on the floor top side down and push the runner down until you see the hole to secure the peg inside it.
