Exfoliating removes ingrained dirt, refreshes the skin by removing flakes of dry old skin and enables the absorption of beneficial skin serums and moisturisers.

Exfoliation can be helpful for those whose skin reveals signs of premature ageing due to factors like overexposure to the sun. It can also sometimes help with non-inflammatory acne.
