What is the difference between an ultrasonic atomiser and a waterless nebuliser? +

An ultrasonic atomiser normally uses a tank of water with a small amount of suitable essential oil to produce a cool mist. A waterless nebuliser atomises the oil directly, so it must be set up and maintained according to its own instructions.

Do all the models need water? +

No. Many models are water-based, while the dry or waterless nebulisers are specifically designed to operate without water. Check the individual product title, specification and user instructions before filling it.
