Why does the bulk feed have to be on the same level as the printer?
This ensures accurate flow of ink to the head.
If the bulk feed is elevated more ink will flow causing ink spillage on the paper.
If the bulk feed is lower than the printer ink will flow back to the bottles causing loss of ink to the print head.
I cannot get any ink flow from my Ink Reservoir.
If you can’t get ink flow for the first time we advise you to open the small plastic caps on the top of the cartridge, (ensure “ink-flow control” is released) then open the breathers on the ink reservoir. Hold the reservoir above the cartridge level until the cartridge will be filled up.
Why is my image blurred after printing?
Ensure you have good quality picture, and/or increase the pressure or temperature on the mug press.
How do I prevent the nozzles clogging on my sublimation printer?
Every 3-4 days print a full colour design off (about quarter A4 page) to prevent the nozzles clogging.
For best results and to save ink and the printer, leave the printer on 24/7.
Okay i have it all ready just wondering what program should i use to design my pictures?
We recommend Photoshop or Corel Draw but simple ones such as Microsoft Office Word should be enough to do basic graphic designs.
Can i print top to bottom?
Yes you can recommended space on the mug is 95mm x 200mm to also effectively use the space on the Sublimation Paper (3 mugs on each paper).
For top to bottom printing use the time 120 seconds and temperature 380C
Are mugs dishwasher safe?
Yes our printable mugs are dishwasher safe.
Use the 'normal' setting on the dishwasher, and use the top rack.
We’ve been washing these mugs for about 1 year now and they still look as good as they’ve been made.(...and we are heavy coffee and tea drinkers though...)
