It's Hippy Week at Ancient Wisdom..
This summer just feels like it's going to be a Summer of Love all over again don't you think? The weather so far has been pretty cool man (ie quite nice) in the UK and those lazy hazy daze are all ahead of us. There are more funky summer fates and festivals organised than ever before, it's going to be a long hot summer.
I'm already thinking about our holidays.. not until September but I think we'll be off to Crete again and probably visit that old hippy hang out Matala. I can't wait.
To celebrate our Hippy Week we thought that we should have some Free Hippy Love.. then on second thoughts we thought that maybe just some Free Hippy Stock would be groovy enough.. so details are below.
Actually I have great admiration for those original hippies, they really changed the world. Not just in philosophy and music but also travel. Traveling in beaten up old buses they pioneered a land route to India across Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan via Kathmandu and ending up on the beaches of Goa. Thousands of intrepids (that's what they called themselves) made the trip and some of them are still there, I've met them.
