This Blue Annealed Wire has lots of practical uses not only in floristry, but in general art and craft also.  Its main uses are in the construction of flower arrangements, giving the structure of the design, your imagination is your limit.

The annealing is a  process of softening ferrous alloys,   performed by substantially heating the material (generally until glowing) for an extended period of time and allowing it to cool slowly. The formation of bluish oxide on the surface is incidental.
