This Lapis is imported directly from Afghanistan by Ancient Wisdom. It’s colour is a rich startling vibrant blue flecked with glittering pyrite and occasional white mottle. Very well finished and polished to a high standard.

Lapis lazuli is a semi-precious stone prized since antiquity for its intense blue colour. Lapis has been mined in the Badakhshan province of Afghanistan for 6,500 years.
